OPK History
1993-1995
Expectant hope
Inspiration phase in product development. Mr Xu manually manufactured the first products in the field of sliding door fitting technology. These products opened doors in the furniture industry and were leading the way for the company. This novel product was granted a national patent.
Entrepreneurship
The company was founded in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. It established its own sales channels. And the industrial production was gradually being expanded.
1996
1997-1999
The spark ignites
To expand market share, the company was setting up additional sales offices. The number of employees raised to over 70 and sales are growing fast.
On to new challenges
With further technical development and improvement of the production process, the OPK plant was relocated from Chengdu City to Xiaolan Town, Zhongshan City. Not only were completely new production facilities built, but the products were updated as well. Bare ball bearings were replaced by plastic-coated ball bearings. The production processing shifted from painting to electroplating as well as oxidation and other processes. Smooth running, easy movement and durability of the products were improved thanks to the use of new technologies.

2001-2002
Perseverance and hard work
In order to expand and improve the company’s product lines, the product range was expanded to include top running sliding door systems for projects and bottom running systems for wardrobes as well as sliding door fittings for furniture.
Eyes on the world
Due to the increased volume of customised cabinets, OPK was switching the production of top running sliding door fittings to sliding door fittings for furniture, making it the first factory in Guangdong Province to produce sliding door fittings for furniture. OPK received the first national patent for the adjustment option of the top running gears in furniture.

2004-2005
Growth and consolidation
In line with the sales trend in the sliding door fitting sector, OPK used injection moulding machines and punching machines to accelerate production capacity and work more efficiently.
First successes
Along with the growth in sales, additional product lines were being developed, namely fittings for doors with insulating glass and folding sliding doors. OPK became a supplier of complete solutions in this branch of industry, having the most varied product range and the largest production volume.

Continued success
With the successful registration of the OPK brand, the logo became a trademark for sliding door fittings with soft closing mechanisms.
New challenge
This is the year of the official launch of the OPK brand. OPK again increased the production volume. The production area was more than 10,000 sqm.

The soft closing mechanism family
OPK was pioneering the introduction of soft closing sliding door systems, resulting in specialisation and diversification of its product offering. OPK became an experienced expert in soft closing sliding door systems.
Brand strength
With the great and rapid growth of brand popularity and sales, OPK became one of the largest manufacturers of sliding door systems worldwide.

Growing the reputation together
With over 1,000 employees and more than 50,000 sqm of operating space, OPK was one of the leading companies for sliding door systems. Among other things, OPK received the “High and New Technology Enterprise & Vision Furniture First Rate Quality” awards, making it the market leader in the development of sliding door systems.

OPK currently owns hundreds of registered patents domestically and abroad. The OPK brand was registered in more than 100 countries. As an innovative company, OPK continuously launches extremely quiet products, multi-damper systems, as well as automatic systems for the sliding door sector, sliding door fittings for doors with insulating glass, and technical sliding doors for projects.
